The Battle
The Portsmouth military base remained the only airfield in Southern England, and was quite important if one was to get Air Superiority.
Background
After successfully retaking Plymouth from the Fascists, the morale was high, and to benefit off of this, GingerCG, commander at the time, took full advantage of this and launched an attack a few days later, to retake the British airfield.
Battle
The battle was short lasted, on their way back from Plymouth, they found an abandoned Crusader tank, however the tank was working completely fine. They used this tank and took the airfield within only a few hours.
Aftermath
Following the battle, the British now once again had air superiority in lower England, and this would also prove vital for the upcoming invasion of Ireland.
