Nye Fjord CWS XV (REV)

Intro

The Nye Fjord project was started as an expansion project by Thora-Sweden. After reforming its national legislations, and protecting their eastern flank, it was a perfect opportunity.

On day 110, 8 boats set off to explore these northern seas.

Discovery of Faroe Islands

On Day 114, the Faroe Islands were discovered. While there wasn't anything set up, they left a sign there, claiming it as Thori-Swedish.

Discovery of Ice Land

On Day 117, "Ice Land" was discovered by Lytfjaerd's ships. They set up the city "Lyngby" and a small port, before continuing. He sent a letter to his friend of Romano Britain, telling Crispin of his discoveries.

The Letter:

"My friend, Crispin Constantineson. It is with great pleasure I write to you, on such a fine day. I hope this letter finds you well. My merchants and I are currently travelling the seas that your father and I had previously dreaded. We hope to find new lands to conquer and settle our population in. I will continue sending you letters, as the Northern Seas are explored. So far, we have found a small island group, we named them the Faroe Islands. We have also found a bigger island, one that seems to purely consist of ice and snow... I know, can you believe it? We thought the most fitting name would be 'Ice Land', or 'Island' in our native tongue. Anyways great Constaineson, farewell."

Discovery of Greenland

Only a few days after finding Ice Land, they discovered Greenland on Day 119, setting up "Nuuk".

Disappearance of Albrikt Lytfjaerd

After departing from Nuuk, he reportedly travelled farther west, however, on Day 122, the letters stopped arriving. He was declared missing on Day 124 after a short "Rescue" party gave up looking after him. He was later pronounced dead on Day 125.
