The Latvian commonwealth is a communist ''Utopia'' with the workers having well paying jobs and secured food resources. It turned communist in 1933 with a peaceful takeover with the populations support. The population supported this by seeing the ''Democracy'' in Latvia was becoming a dictatorship due to Kārlis Ūlmanis gaining more and more influence and suppressing democracy. Realizing that the choice in the Latvian civil war it would have been better to support the communists instead of Ūlmaņa faction. They live in relative peace by assisting the USSR when it needs help.
